Summary:
The Sr. Manager, People Business Partners is a strategic leader and trusted advisor to senior business leaders, responsible for developing and implementing HR solutions that align with the overall business strategy. This role focuses on cultivating strong partnerships with business leaders, understanding their needs, and proactively addressing people-related challenges to drive organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
Develop and implement HR strategies and solutions aligned with business objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.
Lead the implementation of HR initiatives that support business goals and enhance employee engagement and performance.
Talent Management:
Work with business unit leaders to develop and implement talent management strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Ensure merit and headcount resources are allocated and spent effectively.
Partner with managers to identify talent needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
Design and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and support career development.
Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication, feedback, and recognition.
Conduct employee surveys and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee satisfaction and engagement.
HR Programs and Policies:
Develop and deliver HR training programs on various topics.
Oversee the implementation of new HR policies and procedures.
Ensure HR programs and policies align with business needs and legal requirements.
Global Initiatives:
Guide and direct global HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
Provide expertise and support to global teams on HR-related matters.
Foster collaboration and communication across diverse teams and cultures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a proven track record of success in strategic HR roles.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex business issues.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Experience managing and developing a team.
Expertise in performance management, employee relations, organizational design, talent management, and HR project management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence global initiatives.
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse work environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
PHR/SPHR certification.
