The Sr. Director, Product Owner is a senior strategic and execution-focused leader responsible for driving the vision, roadmap, and delivery of one or more of Copado's core platform initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, engineering partnership, and go-to-market alignment. The ideal candidate is outcome-obsessed, moves with urgency, and thrives in a high-ownership environment where months of work are compressed into days.
Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for assigned platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with Copado's FY-2027 AgentOps enterprise leadership goals.
Champion the Platform as a Product paradigm internally — articulate the value of platform engineering to cross-functional stakeholders, GTM teams, and executive leadership.
Identify and prioritize opportunities to eliminate platform fragmentation across Copado's product ecosystem (Essentials, CI/CD, CRT, AI Platform), reducing customer friction and unlocking upsell potential.
Maintain a clear, prioritized, and continuously updated product backlog; translate strategic objectives into actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Drive on-time delivery of critical milestones, including GA launches, alpha/beta programs, and TDx commitments (e.g., Agentia™ Advanced GA by April 15, 2026).
Own monthly roadmap updates and stakeholder communications for Global Infrastructure, Platform Services, CVC, CopaTunnel, and FedRAMP compliance tracks.
Lead product ownership for CopaIDENTITY — Copado's centralized authentication and identity service — ensuring 100% service provider integration across Essentials, CRT, and the AI Platform.
Define the future vision and scope of CopaIDENTITY, including the My Profile connecting hub and production launch on CopaPLATFORM Cloud.
Navigate evolving security and identity demands as Copado expands into non-native solutions (CRT, AI Platform, Tango), establishing a Copado Identity model independent of Salesforce's security framework.
Partner with engineering and GTM to deliver a successful Agentia™ Advanced launch — Copado's mid-market product combining Agentia™ Testing and Agentia™ Pipelines Advanced.
Define agentic workflows for key customer actions (CPD) and ensure GA readiness across Academy, documentation, and GTM enablement.
Enable overdelivery on PLG (Product-Led Growth) business goals through technical optionality within a unified architecture.
Drive the organizational shift toward platform-level services, reducing duplicated effort across product teams and accelerating innovation velocity.
Define and implement key Platform & Infrastructure KPIs that quantify platform value for internal stakeholders and inform GTM decision-making.
Lead MetaCache productization: run PoC with the CRT team, adapt the service for broader consumption, deliver at least one critical business use case, and build the MetaCache extensibility framework.
Serve as the primary product voice to engineering, design, sales, customer success, and executive leadership.
Translate complex platform capabilities into compelling business value narratives for internal and external audiences.
Proactively manage change resistance as teams adopt the Platform as a Product model; build buy-in through education, transparency, and demonstrated outcomes.
Operate effectively in a lean, high-impact environment; demonstrate extreme ownership in the face of resource constraints (e.g., small platform team).
Mentor and develop junior product managers; model Copado's values of Trust, Customer Success, Outcome-Obsession, Agility, and Extreme Ownership.
Partner with People & Talent to address attrition risks and build a resilient, high-performing product team.
10+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or director-level role.
Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder platform or infrastructure products at scale.
Deep experience with SaaS product strategy, platform engineering concepts, and developer/DevOps tooling.
Strong command of identity, authentication, and security product domains (SSO, OAuth, SAML, zero-trust models).
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence without direct authority.
Experience working in or alongside Salesforce ecosystem products (ISV, AppExchange, or Salesforce-native platforms).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to C-suite and board-level audiences.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment with lean teams and aggressive timelines.
Experience with AI/ML product development, agentic workflows, or AI-powered DevOps tooling.
Familiarity with Copado's product portfolio (Metadata Pipeline, Source Format Pipeline, CRT, Essentials, AI Platform).
Background in PLG (Product-Led Growth) strategies and metrics.
Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements and government/enterprise security standards.
Experience with CI/CD, release management, or test automation platforms.
