Brief Summary of Role:
As a Java Developer at Copado, you will play a critical role in building scalable enterprise solutions and driving the evolution of our technology architecture. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality code, secure design, and innovative solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem.
What you'll be doing:
Ensure compliance with Copado’s architecture standards and best practices.
Serve as a guardian of code quality within your domain, with a focus on architecture and security.
Develop solutions by understanding stakeholder challenges and the full technology lifecycle (TLC).
Provide thought leadership and participate in critical architectural and technical decisions.
Continuously mentor and set an example for peers, promoting best practices and innovation.
Collaborate to improve current architecture and design scalable, maintainable solutions.
We Are Looking for Someone With:
Technical Expertise:
Strong hands-on experience with Java (and preferably Python).
Experience building REST and SOAP web services.
Solid understanding of Application and Software Design Patterns.
Experience with enterprise integration, APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
Deep software development experience and knowledge of CI/CD practices.
Familiarity with Cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
Kubernetes API knowledge is a plus.
Experience architecting large-scale enterprise applications.
Good DevOps expertise.
Professional Skills:
Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum-based).
Ability to prioritize and adjust quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentations).
Honest, transparent, responsible, and self-directed.
Enjoys solving complex technical problems and contributing to a high-performing team.
Collaborative, coachable, and passionate about continuous learning.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
