Brief summary of role:
At Copado Japan, our Marketing team plays a crucial role in shaping how we position our DevOps solutions in the Japanese market. We craft compelling product messaging, design go-to-market strategies, and create impactful campaigns, events, and sales enablement programs. Our success is measured by our ability to develop innovative Japan-specific marketing strategies and to engage C-level executives, IT leaders, and key decision-makers in the region.
As a Marketing Manager (Japan), you will be responsible for go-to-market strategies, customer and competitive intelligence, and sales enablement for our CI/CD suite of products. This role requires deep understanding of the Japanese enterprise landscape, working closely with Sales, and Marketing to develop localized content, campaigns, and enablement strategies that help expand pipeline, shorten sales cycles, and drive business growth in Japan.
What you’ll be doing:
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Evaluate the Japanese DevOps market, industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs (especially within the Salesforce ecosystem) to identify key opportunities.
- Localized Product Messaging & Positioning: Develop Japan-specific messaging and collateral, identifying key personas, pain points, and value propositions that resonate with Japanese enterprises.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with Copado Japan’s Sales team to ensure that marketing materials are effective in Japanese enterprise sales cycles and support successful customer conversations.
- Product Strategy Alignment: Work closely with Product Management to provide insights on Japanese customer requirements, competitive differentiation, and product-market fit.
- Go-To-Market Execution: Ensure successful packaging, launch, and delivery of Copado’s CI/CD products in Japan through the right local channels and teams.
- Thought Leadership & Content Creation: Develop Japanese-language content, including blogs, case studies, webinars, and demo videos, to drive awareness and demand.
- Engagement with Local Ecosystem: Participate in Salesforce Japan events, industry conferences, and DevOps meetups to strengthen Copado’s presence in Japan.
- Support for Sales & Partnerships: Provide ad-hoc support for RFPs, pre-sales discussions, and analyst briefings, ensuring a strong Copado Japan market positioning.
