The Global Total Rewards Specialist will be a collaborative, highly detailed partner supporting the implementation and execution of global compensation and benefits programs across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC. This individual will be a hands-on contributor focused on compensation cycle execution, benchmarking, policy development, and systems administration while aligning with Copado’s evolving compensation philosophy.
This is a tactical role that supports the ongoing operational and strategic needs of the Total Rewards function. While compensation expertise is critical, this is not a role for someone looking to independently revamp or lead compensation strategy. Instead, success in this role comes from agility, collaboration, data accuracy, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Total Rewards Execution:
- Support compensation cycle activities including annual merit, bonus, off-cycle, and incentive payments in partnership with People Experience and Finance.
- Conduct global benchmarking and salary analysis using Mercer, Sequoia Insights, and WTW.
- Administer internal equity audits and compensation reporting to ensure fairness and alignment with Copado’s charter.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on annual compensation planning, calibration, and review processes.
- Assist with market survey submissions and review of market data globally.
Systems, Processes, and Policy Support:
- Build and refine compensation-related documentation, workflows, and guidance for stakeholders.
- Partner with People Operations to ensure smooth end-of-month (EOM) processing and reconciliation with Finance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a key liaison to business partners, managers, and the Finance team to deliver timely compensation guidance.
- Maintain and improve spreadsheet models used in compensation cycles, managing data for 300+ employees across 40+ columns.
- Deliver and present compensation data clearly and concisely; facilitate recommendations from stakeholders and leadership.
- Be adaptable to leadership shifts in tools or direction (e.g., AI tools, comp vendors) and pivot effectively.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation or hybrid roles at a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in a global environment with compensation programs in the U.S., EMEA, and APAC.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, conditionals, pivot tables, ratio formulas).
- Strong understanding of compensation cycles, pay equity, benchmarking, and survey tools.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems like Factorial or similar.
- Data-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable owning administrative responsibilities as well as advising on best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a high-growth or fast-paced SaaS company.
- Experience with Mercer tools and Sequoia platform.
- Experience supporting 300+ employees across multiple time zones.
- Ability to perform under pressure and shift priorities quickly.
